This tour has been developed for people who would like to stay in a beautiful hotel, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and enjoy wonderful food, great Christmas traditions. We as a group, will meet in York. Here we can enjoy the York Minsters evensong and the city’s famous Christmas market, before heading into the Yorkshire Dales. Our splendid country house hotel will provide us with luxurious accommodations as well as wonderful food and drink. Christmas festivities will include local carol singers, fireside chats, Christmas dinner and countryside walks. it will be a ‘traditional’ English Christmas.
Bring a sense of adventure because we will explore ancient castles, beautiful waterfalls and a visit to the stunningly beautiful ‘Buttertubs Pass’… but we’ll do these things in a relaxed style and with an abundant sense of the Christmas festivities. ‘Relaxed” is the important word here. If you wish to do nothing but enjoy the ambience of our location, we would fully understand.
This tour is for small groups (4-12), accompanied by 2 guides (for groups of more than 6), travelling in comfortable minibuses (1 or 2 depending on group size), which enable us to get into many places that big buses just can’t. They also provide us with opportunities to ‘dash’ down a country lane to explore something new and unique.… An adventure!
