The 2024 Tour And Travel Season Is Upon Us !…..
Hello again. Many of you are already ‘travel friends’ and some of you are new to our ‘private’ club of interested travellers. We have set up this info/news page to keep you updated on what we do. We hope this will be an enlightening and fun ‘space’. But don’t worry… we won’t be filling your email boxes with ‘stuff’.
NEWS: Early Announcements !
This newsletter is the place to hear of our exciting new destinations, as they become available. Seymour Travels wants YOU to know about the trips first as seat numbers will always be small and we want you to have the first option to reserve your place. AND on that note we would like to thank you for your support and loyalty…. Our tours in 2023 are almost sold out…..thank you !
All of our guides have wonderful reputations within the tour industry, and all have worked for other great companies such as Rick Steves, OAT and others. We look forward to bringing our expertise to your tour.
We are already taking bookings for our 2025 season and tours are selling fast. Because of the finite nature of our small group tours, there are very few places available on each one, therefore, please consult our offerings for 2025 and see if we have something of interest to you. ( Similarly, you can ask us to hold seats on our 2026 tours).
We hope that the online payment system worked easily and efficiently for you. As we grow, we will incorporate more features such as that to enable you to have a better ‘signup’ experience.

Our Cotswold tours are getting ready to start and over the next few weeks 2 more small groups will enjoy the expertise of our colleague and local guide Lorraine Dineen, as she weaves her personal knowledge of the area into our 10 day tour of this beautiful region. Once again using a single hotel as a base for our adventures, our fellow travellers will explore places such as Hidcote Manor and gardens, Broadway Tower, The Rollright Stones and a few surprises in between…… we always add additional ‘field trips’. Tour dates for all tours in 2025 are now open and available for you to book now.
In 2024 we will be running a new tour because France is calling us. Its called ‘Loire, Brittany and Normandy 2 Week Tour’ and of course it will include, chateaux, wine, food, ancient stones, abbeys and wonderful landscapes. Ask us for more details. This tour is almost SOLD OUT!
In 2025 another tour of France, Carcassone to the Pyrenees will also be running. This tour has already sold out.
Two more NEW tours in Britain…..Yes we have finally created an immersive tour for those wishing to spend more time enjoying Bath and the surrounding counties of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. Staying in one hotel and striking out into this fabulous area will help you understand who the Brits really are. This ‘Bath And Its Surrounds Tour’ is travel immersion at its best.
Options for all of our tours include the ability for you to book other tour dates with us (other than those listed) for your own personal group tour. So long as there are more than six people in your group we will provide the ‘personal’ experience for you. Let us know if you are interested so that we may set aside dates for you.
We also want to reiterate that we do not charge a single supplement as so many tour operators do, and we would never dream of asking you to share with a stranger.
Our 2024 tours as stated above and our 2025 tours, are now available for ‘early’ booking. Take advantage of it while you can, as seats fill very quickly. Let us know which tours you require and how many places (via email), and we’ll send tour documents out to you via email.
ADVICE: Do your research…. We do our best to stay on top of changing events and always advise you to ONLY use government websites as your source of info relating to health, security and visas. We also advise everyone to carry travel insurance.

Our two new tour vehicles have already been in use on our SW England Tour and our North Wales tour. We love them!!… and hope you will too.
Seymour Travels has also created a small number of travel groups on Facebook… another way in which we will try to stay in touch with you, going forward. If you see us on social media, please join us.

Small Group Travel Reminder For Trip Preparations
Travel Light !!!!
But Bring With You -
Copies of passports, ID and credit Cards (chip and pin cards if possible).
Proof of vaccination.
Spare Universal charger cables for your devices and earbuds. These can be used in our ultra light audio devices.
Cash for small purchases, meals, tips etc.
All weather clothing, incl footwear. Think ‘layers’.
Electrical adaptors for your trip if necessary. In The UK you will need these.
Printed copy of the directions to your first tour hotel. We will send you hotel names and address etc with your final tour information.
Copies of all of your flight and transportation info/ticketing.
Keep my phone number with you at all times. Depending on the tour this will be sent to you along with the tour info.
A small rucksack or daybag will be useful.
A money belt.
An appetite.
A sense of adventure, an open-mind and a sense of humour !
Help Us Build Tours !
Although we at Seymour Travels have traveled more and further than most travel ‘gurus’, we don’t pretend to know where you would like to go next….. but we would like to make those dreams come true. So, we will float tour ideas to you on these ‘Info/News’ pages and would love to have your feedback on them, as we build these tour itineraries.
Thank you for helping us build our Northern England tour. Your suggestions were terrific and we have included several of them.
Another planned tour is an adventure that will enable you to discover East Anglia….that big bump that sticks out of the side of Eastern England:-) …. Sutton Hoo etc !

We’re often asked about family groups and private tours. Well we’re very happy to announce that if 6 (or more) people would like to travel together on one of our tours, we will set aside dates ( by arrangement) for that to happen. A Private tour can be ideal for reunions, family get togethers and business functions, so reach out to us if this idea is appealing to you.
